Sal's Cucina started as Sunday suppers — a big wooden table, a pot of sauce that simmered all day, and enough food to feed half the neighborhood. When friends kept asking, "When are you going to sell this stuff?" Sal just laughed. Until he didn't.
Today, our food truck carries those same recipes down the streets of St. Augustine. We still make our pasta by hand. We still let the sauce do the talking. And we still believe that the best meals happen when people gather around something real.
